Built for the Fluid You Actually Move
Goldstream Pumps was born in Charleston, South Carolina, out of a specific engineering challenge: How do you move thick, cold, and heavy oils without a forklift-sized pump?
Our Origin: Solving the Viscosity Problem
For years, the fluid transfer market offered two bad options for the professional mechanic, the fleet manager, and the field technician. There was no middle ground—until now.
Filling the Void in Fluid Transfer
- The Cheap Route: Buy a disposable, plastic transfer pump from a hardware store that burns out its motor after moving just 50 gallons of heavy, viscous oil.
- The Overkill Route: Buy a massive, stationary industrial gear pump that requires a permanent mounting base, 3-phase power, and an astronomical budget.
We filled that gap. We took the robust, positive displacement technology of stationary rotary gear heads—machined from cast iron and steel—and mated them to powerful, portable motors. The result is a line of systems that offer continuous-duty industrial reliability in a package you can carry in one hand.
The "Serviceable Tool" Philosophy
In an era of disposable equipment, we believe in tools that can be fixed. A Goldstream pump is not a disposable appliance; it is an industrial asset built to work as hard as you do.
- Modular Design: Our cast-iron pump heads are separate from our electric motors. If you eventually wear out a set of gears after moving 50,000 gallons of abrasive waste fluids, you don't throw the tool away. You simply unbolt the pump head and replace it.
- Stocked in the USA: We don't just drop-ship. We warehouse our pumps, replacement gears, Viton seals, and industrial Baldor motors right here in South Carolina. When you need a part to keep your operation running, it ships directly from us, not from overseas.
Who We Serve
Our portable transfer pumps and bare industrial assemblies are currently deployed in marinas, fleet service trucks, and manufacturing facilities across North America. We specialize in providing solutions for:
- Fleet Maintenance: Rapid waste oil evacuation and bulk fluid transfer.
- Marine Services: High-volume diesel transfer and dockside oil changes.
- Industrial Fluid Handling: Moving heavy hydraulic fluid, thick gear oil, and machine coolants through centralized systems.
